What minimum EBITDA do private credit lenders require?
Most cash-flow lenders size a loan off EBITDA and many set a floor, but few publish it. On this site, 137 of 1,557 active funds publish a minimum EBITDA and 3 explicitly state no EBITDA minimum; the rest do not disclose one. Asset-based, equipment, real estate and venture lenders underwrite collateral, contracts or the investor syndicate rather than EBITDA, so a pre-profit or asset-heavy borrower should screen those structures first.
