What documents do private credit lenders need?
A first conversation needs a one- to two-page teaser: what the company does, the amount and use of proceeds, the structure sought, and summary financials. Before a term sheet, lenders expect a CIM or credit memo, several years of historical financials plus year-to-date, a projection model with the debt case, a capitalization table and existing debt schedule, and, for asset-based or project loans, collateral or contract detail. This site captures the deal in a structured brief; a banker engagement prepares the full package.
